Reality and Game Show Sigmas
Over the last several years, brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. have participated on several T.V. reality or game shows. To date, we have identified brothers on the following shows:
- Survivor: Samoa
- The Real Gilligan’s Island
- Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader?
- Dancing with the Stars
- BET College Hill: VSU
So far, a Sigma brother has won one show, Bro. Emmitt Smith, Fall 2006 Dancing with the Stars – Season #3, and one runner-up, Bro. Jerry Rice, on the same show – Season #2. If you know of other brothers we have not been identified, please post their names and shows.

Greetings Brothers in Sigma,
The “Immortal” Step Team of the Iota Rho chapter of Phi Beta Sigma (one of the hosts of the history conference many of you might have attended in early October) is a part of the Sprite Step off Competition. As a result of this, we are being filmed to be on a reality tv show that will premiere on one of the MTV networks. This show is based around the step competition and has highlighted many of the great aspects of Our Wondrous Band. Though the show is being filmed now, and is currently in production it will air in late January. I hope that all brothers of Sigma, sisters of Zeta, and those who appreciate the things our family does will tune in and watch.
