i’m pleased to announce the release of the new western regional website located at pbs1914west.org – designed and built by bro. reginald paul, northern california state director. not only did it get a new home, but it got a serious facelift and a number of cool new bells and whistles. please take some time to check it out.

Thanksgivng Food Drive

Partnership Alliance for Community Kids (PACK) & Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc, Alpha Alpha Epsilon Sigma Chapter Thanksgiving Basket Donation

We will be providing complete Thanksgiving meals to needy families and organizations. Phi Beta Sigma needs your help in making those who are less fortunate have a hearty Thanksgiving meal.

Please donate the following food Items:
Frozen Turkey, Frozen Ham, Frozen Chickens, Yams, Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, Corn Bread mix, Boxes of Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce, Cake mix, and Frosting. Frozen, boxed, or can items please, they are better to preserve until passed out on 11-21-2006. Grocery Store gift certificates are also needed.

Brothers, if you are going to Conclave 2007 in Charlotte , make your reservations.

Rate right now is $109.00 per night. The Westin is brand new and its nice. The rooms normally go anywhere from $230.00 to $260.00/night. So, they did get a great rate. www.westin.com

At our state meeting we were told only Brothers who registered for the Conclave would get the $109.00 rate, but this is not true. Call the hotel direct and tell them you are with the Phi Beta Sigma Conference.

Apparently they are trying to prevent those not registered from booking all the hotel rooms. They have the right to cancel reservations for those not registered. However, they will probably not do that anytime soon. Mainly due to the fact that registration materials are not out there yet. When registration fees start rolling in and rooms begin to disappear they might begin to do that.

I recommend you get on the early bird registration also. That is when the information is mailed out to you, which should be shortly. See fees below.
